About Us

Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or placing an order (whether via the website or WhatsApp), you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- The information you provide is accurate and complete
- You agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety
Product Descriptions & Accuracy
- All Womaniya products are **handcrafted by artisans** and inherently unique. Minor variations in colour, texture, border dimensions, motif placement, and finish are characteristic of handloom and are **not defects**
- Product photographs are taken in natural light to represent colours as accurately as possible. Slight variation due to screen calibration or natural dyeing processes is expected and normal
- We make every effort to ensure product descriptions are accurate. In the event of a material error, we reserve the right to exchange the affected order.
- **Availability** is subject to stock. We cannot guarantee availability after you have added an item to your cart. Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment and our written confirmation via WhatsApp.
Pricing & Payment
- All prices are displayed in **Indian Rupees (INR)** and are inclusive of applicable GST and not the shipping charge
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of confirmed order applies to that order
- We accept UPI and bank transfer
- Full payment is required before any order is dispatched. We do not offer Cash on Delivery
Order Confirmation & Contract
An order is considered confirmed and a binding contract formed when:
1. You proceed the order via WhatsApp and fill up our details
2. You complete payment successfully, AND
3. We send you a WhatsApp confirmation
4. Usually we ship within 10-14 working days and share the tracking ID via WhatsApp and message
We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch due to: stock unavailability, pricing errors, payment issues, or suspicion of fraud. In all such cases, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.
Shipping & Delivery
- Delivery timelines provided are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather, natural disasters, public holidays, or circumstances beyond our control
- Risk of loss transfers to you once the order is handed to the courier partner and a tracking number is generated
- For lost shipments, we will file a claim with the courier and work to resolve the issue — including replacement or refund — within 14 business days of confirmation of loss
- Any customs duties, import taxes, or surcharges for deliveries outside India (where applicable) are the buyer's responsibility
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Our returns and refunds policy is governed by the separate **Returns & Exchanges** page, which forms part of these Terms. Key points:
-We do not accept return as all the products are made to order and customized according to customer’s size and preferred colour
Intellectual Property
- All content on the Womaniya website — including but not limited to product photographs, brand imagery, logo, written content, and design — is owned by Womaniya or used with permission
- You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without written permission
- You may share our content on social media for personal, non-commercial purposes with appropriate credit
User Conduct
When interacting with us via our website, WhatsApp, or social media, you agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct toward our team
- Attempt to defraud us or manipulate the return/refund process
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of Womaniya or our artisan partners
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
- Womaniya's total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the specific product(s) involved
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages (including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of use) arising from the use of our products or services
- We do not warrant that the website will be available without interruption or error
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the **Republic of India**
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation via WhatsApp or email
- If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in **Kolkata, West Bengal**
- Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under Indian consumer protection law

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version displayed on this page is the current version. Continued use of the website or placing of orders after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
